A Portrait in a Group
Curator: Orly Hoffman
07/11/2004 -
31/01/2005
The exhibition includes portraits of thinkers, leaders and men of letters, and various representations of myths in Israeli culture. It offers another view of the relations between object and space, between the individual and the group, between contemporary themes and traditional sculpture, through an encounter with influential creators and developments in art history. The sculptures, made in different periods of bronze, stone and plaster, reflect the artistic endeavor in the first half of the twentieth century.
